It is his name. He said something about it being a title, but his name is still Rokurou.

If he doesn't want to be called that, he doesn't have to. It's like if the name 'Lightning' was a title for the women in my family. I don't want my sister's nickname, there's only one Lightning Farron. It would be weird for me to be that.

[As in, Rokurou can still be Rokurou if he wants, and not take some ceremonial name if he doesn't want it... and thinking of herself as Serah 'Lightning' Farron is weird. Never gonna think of that again if she can help it.]

And even if he did, why does it matter?
